Rapid periodic CO2 laser stimulation (30 Hz). With the new 2-axis galvanometer, we can now generate rapid periodic thermal stimuli for the recording of steady-state evoked potentials, with frequencies of up to 100 Hz.

Infrared movie of a slow (3-second) increase in skin temperature. At the end of the sequence, the subject removes his hand from the target. The stimulus was generated using our new feeback-controlled CO2 laser.
